Curbside Recycling Program

Sunshine Disposal offers a full curbside recycling program.  The following is a list of acceptable materials and instructions for the customer.

NEWSPAPER: Bundle or bag newspaper.  No plastic bags.

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD/BROWN PAPER BAGS: Bundle (Maximum 2' x 2').  No cereal or pizza boxes.  

MAGAZINES & PHONE BOOKS: Bundle or bag.  No catalogs.

GLASS: Glass bottles and jars only.  Colors: Brown, green or clear.  Rinse, discard lids.  Labels are OK

ALUMINUM & TIN CANS: Rinse, flatten, discard labels.  No foil or scrap metal.

CODE-1 PLASTIC BOTTLES & JARS/UNCOLORED CODE 2 (MILK JUGS): Rinse, remove lids, flatten.  Labels are OK.  No color CODE 2 or other codes.  No plastic bags.

HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES: Place in sealed plastic bag on top of bin.

VEHICLE BATTERIES: Put vehicle batteries next to bin.
